JLL names new Greater China Head of Research and Chief Economist

Strengthening Greater China research capabilities to support businesses' expansion

HONG KONG, 13 July 2022 – JLL today announced the appointment of Bruce Pang as Head of Research and Chief Economist in Greater China.

He will lead the Greater China research team in the regional hubs and work closely with Daniel Yao, Head of Research in mainland China, to strategise JLL's long-term growth plans in this region and provide business units essential support for their business development endeavours. He will also be a key participant in JLL's global research effort to solidify the strong JLL brand globally by extending thought leadership through industry research.

Bruce's prior working experience spans both Mainland China and Hong Kong. He joined JLL from China Renaissance Securities where he was the Head of Macro and Strategy Research. Before that, he was an Equity Strategist at HSBC Global Research and managed more than 20 research analysts as Head of China Support Centre. He was educated in Beijing, Hong Kong and the US for his undergraduate and graduate degrees. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Hong Kong.
