April 2018 Private development company, Knight Dragon is bringing Greenwich Peninsula – London's largest single-owned development project - to the Hong Kong market for the first time.

The GBP8.4 billion (HKD92.7 billion) regeneration is the flagship scheme of Knight Dragon and one of the largest regeneration projects in Europe, transforming 150 acres in the dynamic east of the city into a vibrant district wrapped in 1.6 miles of the River Thames.

On 20 April 2018, the company will be launching a new collection of waterfront homes at Greenwich Peninsula. No.3 Upper Riverside is a striking 25-storey building designed by SOM architects and offers the exciting opportunity to be part of a unique London riverside destination.

A New Riverside Destination for London

Greenwich Peninsula will feature seven individual new neighbourhoods, comprising over 15,000 homes, 48 acres of open green spaces including a public park and thriving waterfront promenades, 3.5m square feet of shops, hotels, schools and public facilities, and a dedicated Design District situated at its heart. Located just one Tube stop from Canary Wharf, Greenwich Peninsula is served by its own Tube station, situated in the centre, along with Thames Clipper taxi boat service and City Airport just 14 minutes away.

The exciting waterfront destination is fast emerging. Neighbouring the world-famous O2 Arena, progress on site is moving at speed with four of the residential neighbourhoods well underway, the first residents now moved in, and the Design District unveiled last Autumn.

Knight Dragon chairman, Dr Henry Cheng Kar-Shun, also chairman of New World Development, said: "There has never been a regeneration project in London like Greenwich Peninsula until now. This is an incredible feat for a single company and we are proud to be creating a new destination which brings together innovative design, culture, education and community to create London's most boldly modern landscape."

A recent report from JLL shows property values and rental growth at Greenwich Peninsula are expected to continue to outperform the Central London average over the next five years.

A Striking Waterside Address

One of the seven neighbourhoods, Upper Riverside offers world-class waterfront living. Introducing a striking new addition to London's iconic skyline, it features a family of five individual buildings, designed by SOM architects, famed for Shanghai's Jin Mao Tower and Dubai's Burj Khalifa (world's tallest tower).

Set right on the riverfront, next door to the prestigious Ravensbourne university and Design District, the stepped glass prisms are angled towards the water's edge, with pavement cafes and restaurants at their feet surrounded by new landscaping and walkways. Together they offer light-filled homes with far-reaching river and city views, a series of communal roof gardens, food, drink and nature, to create a new waterside social hub.

The riverside address is also home to the Upper Riverside Club: a collection of exceptional residents' amenities spread across the five buildings. Hotel-like lobbies, private cinemas and a games room create an atmosphere of a relaxed and welcoming member's club where new settlers can come together.  The Club will feature Renew by celebrated British designer, Tom Dixon; an entire floor dedicated to wellness and relaxation with facilities including one of London's highest pools, steam room, two gyms, and expansive roof terrace for open-air exercise and dining. Renew by Tom Dixon will open later this year.

New Collection Launching This Spring

No.3 Upper Riverside is the latest chapter of the development and launches in Hong Kong in April. The waterfront building comprises 126 modern homes in a range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, lofts and penthouses with stunning roof gardens and panoramic city and river views.

The interiors of the five riverside buildings have each been conceived by leading creative names, bringing together London's world-class design talent to create a dynamic community with its own distinctive character. Previous interior design partners include Tom Dixon and State of Craft.

Internationally acclaimed Sophie Ashby, from Studio Ashby, has collaborated with Knight Dragon for No.3 Upper Riverside. Ashby was inspired by the unique riverside surroundings, and rich maritime heritage, which is reflected in the design of the apartments and used to create unique interiors, exclusive to Upper Riverside.

Sales at No.3 Upper Riverside launch on Friday 20 April and will be exhibited from 2oth to 22nd April from 11am – 7pm at Tian & Di Room 7/F The Landmark Oriental, 15 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong.
