Chung Chai Building in Shau Kei Wan set for Public Auction
HONG KONG, 6 July 2021 – JLL today announced that it has been appointed as the auctioneer for the sale of Chung Chai Building at Nos.67, 69, 69A and 71 Nam On Street in Shau Kei Wan by public auction pursuant to an Order for Sale made by the Lands Tribunal under the Land (Compulsory Sales for Redevelopment) Ordinance.
The public auction will be held at 11:00am on 28 July 2021 (Wednesday) and the property has a reserve price of HKD 195 million.
The eight-storey tenement block was built in 1964. There are three retail shops on the ground floor and the first floor to seventh floor are for domestic use served by two common staircases.
The site is zoned as "Residential (Group A) 2" under the Approved Shau Kei Wan Outline Zoning Plan No. S/K9/18. It has a site area of 3,000 sq ft.
The property will be sold partly with vacant possession and partly subject to existing lettings and tenancies (if any) and on an 'as is' basis.
The public auction will be held at the JLL office, 7/F, One Taikoo Place, 979 King's Road, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong.
