Our solutions operate across all aspects of the property lifecycle including the new development process, building management, green building certification and tenancy management for occupiers.

We recognise sustainability is a driver for improved performance, allowing us to deliver better outcomes for our clients.  We do this by providing the following three service offerings:

Sustainability Consultancy

We undertake a wide range of sustainability consulting work across APAC. For those clients looking to drive performance improvement at a particular site, we can undertake energy audits that typically identify between 20-25% savings.  This is supported by our energy retrofit and upgrade work.  

We have extensive experience in delivering green fitout projects and negotiating and managing green leases, one of the most cost effective ways to improve tenancy environmental performance.

Increasingly we are developing and implementing strategies to integrate sustainability into our clients’ property and business strategies.  This can include emission reduction targets and renewable energy.

Green Building Certification

With over 140 accredited sustainability professionals in APAC, we are well placed to deliver your green building certification including LEED, Green Mark, and BREEAM.  Our practical property experience means we design and deliver a solution that not only meets the certification requirements but also delivers ongoing operational performance.  To understand the potential of your building, we undertake gap assessments to determine the most cost effective way of achieving any certification.

Data Management

Effective data management is fundamental to any effective environmental management programme. From identifying opportunities for improvement to meeting mandatory reporting obligations, JLL has extensive experience in using data to realise value from individual assets and property portfolios.  This includes our online tool Energy and Sustainability Platform (ESP) which enables us to provide accurate and timely data that can be used to analyse energy usage trends and other utility data as well as report of sustainability project status.  The more advanced version of the tool utilises sub meter data to enable more sophisticated analysis to identify savings of between 15-30% and drive ongoing performance improvement.
