Current Responsibilities
Cliff Tse is a Regional Director with JLL’s Valuation Advisory Services in Hong Kong, and heads the department’s Mortgage Valuation team. Cliff’s team currently handles an average of more than 500 assignments per month for various banking clients. 

In recent years, Cliff has worked extensively with major banking institutions, investment banks and fund managers, providing innovative valuation services tailored to suit their operational needs and strategies. He carries out approximately 6,000 formal valuation assignments per annum, primarily instant verbal valuations to major banks and financial institutions, as well as property valuations, block valuations and market presentations.

Cliff’s major clients include Citibank N.A., HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, China Construction Bank, GE Moneys, AIG Finance, DBS Bank, National Australia Bank and ABN Amro.

Cliff has more than 18 years of experience in the real estate sector, 13 of which have been spent in asset valuation work in both Hong Kong and Macau. 

He began his career with the Shui On Group in 1985, working in technical engineering services. He then worked in the Project Development division of HKR International Ltd. before joining JLL in 1989. Cliff was promoted to an Associate Director with the Firm in 1996, and it was in this role that he began to head the Mortgage Valuation Services team. 

He was promoted to National Director in 2003 and Regional Director in 2015.

Cliff received a Bachelor of Science degree in Estate Management from the University of Reading. 

He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a Master’s degree in Technology and Management from the same institution.

Cliff is a Registered Professional Surveyor and a Licensed Estate Agent. 

He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, an Associate of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
