Our people

Current responsibilities
Cathie joined JLL in 2008. She is currently a Director with the Research department, and plays a crucial role in developing and executing the firm’s research consultancy business. Cathie specialises in providing clients with professional advice on real estate project feasibility, optimum development mix, and market research studies within the Pearl River Delta region. 

Her clients include property developers, fund managers, investment banks and other government/quasi-government organisations.

Experience
Prior to joining JLL, Cathie was an Associate Director in the research department of an international property consultant firm – Knight Frank. Cathie was responsible for the firm’s consultancy assignments, in which she managed the execution of development and asset-enhancement studies, consumer and operator surveys and other real estate-related feasibility studies. She also led a team of researchers in authoring corporate research publications covering Hong Kong, Macau and major cities in Mainland China. 

Cathie has also been a portfolio manager for AIG Global Real Estate, where she monitored the performance of the group’s property portfolio in the Asia Pacific region. 

Select clients that Cathie has worked with include Airport Authority Hong Kong, Hong Kong Science and Technology Park Corporation, Hong Kong Housing Society, Urban Renewal Authority, Sun Hung Kai Properties, Great Eagle, Link REIT, ARA, Grosvenor, Redevco and JUSCO. 

Education
Cathie received her Bachelor of Arts in Management from the University of Toronto in Canada, and earned a Master of Science in Marketing Management from the University of Guelph in Canada.
