HONG KONG, 02 October 2018 – On 5th, 6th and 7th October London house builder, Telford Homes, will launch Gallions Point at Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong. Gallions Point is a development at Royal Albert Wharf, a new riverside neighbourhood comprising of 127 homes in the heart of the Royal Docks. Spanning over 275 acres by the River Thames, the Royal Docks is undergoing a £314 million regeneration programme over the next five years transforming the area into a global hub for business and creativity. As part of this renaissance, Telford Homes will create a new neighbourhood, Gallions Point, that will offer contemporary apartments, commercial space and landscaped courtyards to relax and enjoy London’s newest district. JLL has been appointed as the sole agent of the project.
The first release at Gallions Point features a stylish collection of one, two and three bedroom apartments. The architecture and exterior design of Gallions Point is drawn from the area’s previous incarnation, evident in the materials and bricks used on the residential buildings to the design of the courtyards, which reflect the design aesthetic of the Royal Docks, creating a sense of space and connection with the waterside.
Representing a modern interpretation of warehouse living, all of the apartments have been thoughtfully designed to maximise space and create generously sized contemporary living accommodation. Floor to ceiling windows flood the rooms with light and the addition of a private balcony or terrace provides extensive views over the landscaped gardens or the vibrant Docklands and East London skyline. The contemporary kitchen and living spaces effortlessly combine form with function; with kitchens by renowned designer London’s Urban Myth combined with stone work surfaces and fully integrated Smeg appliances, making a stylish and enjoyable space for cooking and entertaining.
Community sits at the heart of Gallions Point and the architecture and design has been formed to include three residential courtyard gardens creating a fantastic place to relax and socialise. As part of the lifestyle at Gallions Point, all residents have access to a 24-hour concierge on hand to deliver a seamless living experience alongside a private residents Wi-Fi Lounge, underground parking, a convenience store and other retail services.
Newly designated as London’s only Enterprise Zone, the Royal Docks is set to attract major businesses, creative industries and individuals, leisure facilities and huge investment with the first new commercial properties opening as early as March 2019.
Leading the commercial regeneration at Royal Docks is ABP, the Chinese business park specialist who is creating what will become London’s third major business and financial centre. With 4.7 million sq. ft. devoted to offices, retail and residential use, it will become a hub for Asian businesses wanting to reach European markets and for European companies wanting to do business with them.
David Campbell, Group Sales and Marketing Director at Telford Homes, commented: “Our vision for Gallions Point is to create an inspiring, community led neighbourhood as part of Royal Albert Wharf, an integral element of the wider Royal Docks regeneration. Strong early investment has already transformed the area with much more still to come, making it an increasingly desirable place to live and work.
The location of our development, in what is arguably one of Europe’s most significant development projects, will be of interest to both those keen to get on the property ladder, and a prime opportunity for price growth with property prices set to rise significantly once the regeneration is complete. As well as living close to the financial hub of Canary Wharf, residents and businesses in the area will also benefit from excellent access to the West End and central London when Crossrail comes to nearby Custom House in 2019; just 7 minutes from Gallions Point.”
