JLL Honoured with Asia Pacific Best Managed Facility of the Year Award

International Facilities Management Association recognises JLL’s work at Kellett School – The British International School in Hong Kong


HONG KONG, 25 October 2016 – The International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) has recognised JLL with the Asia Pacific Best Managed Facility of the Year Award at the World Workplace Asia conference 2016.

The accolade is a result of the real estate consulting firm's work at Kellett School's, Kowloon Bay Campus in Hong Kong. According to IFMA, the award is given for a facility management programme that has had a substantial, positive effect in contributing to the success of the organization.

Samuel Ma, Head of Education and Consultancy, IFM Greater China JLL, says: "I'm so proud to receive recognition from my peers in the facilities management industry for the work JLL does with Kellett School. JLL has been managing the purpose-built 450,000 square feet campus since it opened in 2013, establishing a facilities operation from scratch. With its focus on environmental stewardship and sustainability, the firm has helped to achieve a range of operational cost savings over the past two years, including energy costs.

JLL is the largest integrated facilities manager in Asia Pacific with 390 million square feet of facilities under management and 12,000 employees across 16 markets, serving global and regional clients in multiple sectors including, education, financial services, technology and consumer goods. In Greater China, JLL are now managing seven education clients with managed area over 6.5M sqft.

The IFMA award follows a week after JLL was recognised as 'Asia Pacific Facilities Management Company of the Year' in the Frost & Sullivan Excellence Awards.
