No. 6 Fei Ngo Shan Road, Sai Kung for Sale

HONG KONG, 13 NOVEMBER 2013 - No. 6 Fei Ngo Shan Road, Sai Kung is now for sale.  According to the sole agent Jones Lang LaSalle, currently, there is a custom-built granite clad detached house on the lot, with a huge landscaped garden.  The property is to be sold on an “as-is” basis and expects offers at no less than HK$200 million.

Prestigiously located on Fei Ngo Shan — the highest peak in Kowloon and one of the most high-end residential areas in Hong Kong, the property is surrounded by a tranquil ambience. In fact, Sai Kung, where the property is situated, has been well known for its beautiful sceneries that it has earned a reputation of ‘The Back Garden of Hong Kong’.

No. 6 Fei Ngo Shan Road has a site area of approximately 29,910 sq ft. The detached house with a private driveway, currently standing on the site, has a saleable area of approximately 3,322 sq ft.  Nestled in lush greenery and commanding a spectacular view of Victoria Harbour, the house consists of a formal living room, a dining room, three bedrooms (including two en suites), a study, a breakfast room, a TV room, a large family/media room, an en suite maid quarters and a gorgeously landscaped front and back garden.

One of the highlights of this house is the sophisticatedly landscaped garden featuring a meandering koi pond with waterfall and a pavilion in elegant style. The garden covers an area of approximately 25,000 sq ft, offering a high level of flexibility for layout and design. The ground is lushly landscaped with mature towering tress and rare valuable specimen of flowers and plants.

The Property comprises two entrances: one on Fei Ngo Shan Road and the other on Fei Ha Road. The main entrance on Fei Ngo Shan Road provides a covered carport and an open carpark, which can accommodate at least seven to eight cars.

“Fei Ngo Shan has long been recognized as a low-density, traditional luxury residential district, with less than 20 single house lots built thereon. According to the relevant outline zoning plan, the property can also be redeveloped into a new house of a maximum permissible gross floor area of about 7,478 sq ft. The spacious garden also offers ample space for future buyers to build an Olympic-size swimming pool and putting green. The property now for sale is definitely a scarcity and we expect it to attract interest from both local end-users and investors,” commented Danny Chan, Jones Lang LaSalle’s National Director, Capital Markets, Hong Kong.
