Jones Lang LaSalle Is Appointed As The Sole Leasing Agent For 33 Des Voeux Road Central

International property services firm to lease new
premium grade A office building in the heart of Central

HONG KONG, 02 July 2013 – International property services firm Jones Lang LaSalle today announced that its Markets and Retail teams have been appointed as the sole leasing agent and marketing consultant for 33 Des Voeux Road Central, a development by The Bank of East Asia, Limited (BEA).  33 Des Voeux Road Central, a redevelopment of the former UCB Building owned by BEA, offers Grade A office space in the heart of Central overlooking Des Vouex Road.  It is scheduled for completion in Q4 2013.

The building, situated at 33 Des Vouex Road Central, comprises approximately 94,176 square feet in gross floor area over 27-storey.  It offers premium office space at a prime location in Central, which is immediately adjacent to Hong Kong and Central MTR stations and well served by various transport options including tram, bus, minibus and the China-Hongkong shuttle bus.  In addition to the superb accessibility, the building also fosters a flexible work space with state-of-the-art design, featuring a curtain wall with double glazed panels which allow maximum daylight penetration and improved insulation.

There will be 20 storeys in the building dedicated to premium office space across three different office zones.  The floor plate available for leasing is expected to be between 3,421 and 4,679 square feet gross.  The flexible, efficient office space at the 33 Des Voeux Road Central will offer up to 9.7m of floor plate depth and headroom of 2.75m.  In addition, the building will also include 5 storeys of retail space targeted for high-end international brands.  Three lifts for office tenants and shoppers, along with one shop shuttle lift, will be installed to ensure fast access to different floors.
