Jones Lang LaSalle Is Appointed As The Sole Leasing Agent For CCB Tower

International property services firm to lease the only new premium grade A office building in Central in 2012

HONG KONG, 13 August 2012 – International property services firm Jones Lang LaSalle today announced that its Markets team has been appointed as the sole leasing agent and marketing consultant for CCB Tower. Jones Lang LaSalle was awarded the position and the role as marketing consultant for the development by Diamond String Limited, a joint venture partnership between China Construction Bank and Lai Sun Development. CCB Tower is the only building which will be completed in Central in 2012 which offers premium grade A office space.

“This appointment is an exceptional success for the Markets team at Jones Lang LaSalle. The position of sole agent for such a prominent development is a demonstration of the leading position of Jones Lang LaSalle in Hong Kong, and a testament to the high quality of service provided by our leasing professionals,” said Gavin Morgan, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Leasing, Jones Lang LaSalle, Hong Kong.

The 31-storey CCB Tower, which is situated on Chater Road on the historical site where The Ritz-Carlton was once located, will total approximately 20,850m² in gross floor area. It offers tenants premium office space in a discreet location with exceptional levels of privacy, despite its prime location within the central business district. The building fosters an intimate office setting, with an abundance of natural light and spacious high ceilings.
“I expect the grade A office space at CCB Tower will attract the attention of many businesses due to its status as the only premium space to open in Central this year. It is also unique in that it offers dual harbour and garden views and is located on the prestigious site where the Ritz-Carlton once stood,” added Morgan.

The building is to include 20 storeys dedicated to premium ofice space, with two storeys set aside as a banking hall. The floor plate available for leasing is expected to vary between 6,900 and 7,400 square feet. The flexible, efficient office space at the CCB Tower will offer up to 12m floor plate depth and headroom of 3.05m.

“CCB Tower is likely to draw the interest of larger companies seeking premium office space in Central. The extensive floor plate in the building is a real advantage because it allows businesses to lease an entire floor,” added Morgan.

Tenants will be afforded excellent convenience due to the building’s direct connection to Central MTR station and its access to over 50 bus, minibus and tram routes. 24-hour private parking is available for 37 vehicles in the building’s three-storey basement carpark.

CCB Tower is scheduled to open in November of this year.
