Capella Niseko Resort and Residences Exhibit in Hong Kong

2 December 2010 – Japan’s Capella Niseko Resort and Residences will hold its exhibit in Hong Kong on 3–5 December 2010 at Tian & Di at the seventh floor of The Landmark Mandarin, according to the development's sole marketing agent, Jones Lang LaSalle.

Since its official launch, the property has generated enormous interest in the market. A total of 30 units were sold after the development's unveiling in November last year, with property sizes ranging from 2,000 sq ft for apartments to 5,538 sq ft for villas and priced at HKD 8–40 million. Reserved units and sales amounted to over 20% of the total stock. The project is scheduled to be completed in the winter of 2012.

Capella Niseko Resort and Residences is situated at the heart of Niseko, a popular ski destination in Hokkaido, Japan. The project is an exclusive resort development designed by world-renowned architect Tadao Ando and managed by legendary hotelier Horst Schulze.

The value of the development comes from a unique combination of factors from the exterior to the interior—from choosing an exclusive ski location to the selection of the architect, interior designer, spa consultant and hotel management company. ‘The site has broken ground in September this year. We are confident that Capella Niseko Resort and Residences will become a hot spot once it is completed and becomes available for occupancy,’ says Ernest Tsang, general partner of Annupuri Land.

Anne-Marie Sage, Regional Director of Residential at Jones Lang LaSalle Hong Kong, says, ‘We are receiving calls and enquiries for the past few months. With its groundbreaking in September, prospective buyers will gain more trust and confidence when the development progress is reported. We believe that sales will heat up again.’

Capella Niseko Resorts and Residences is the first project in Japan by Annupuri Land and will be managed by Capella Hotels and Resorts, led by hotelier Horst Schulze from the famous Ritz Carlton. Niseko is easily accessible by rail and by road as well as through direct international flights to Sapporo’s new Chitose Airport, which is just 120 km away. Niseko is the powder snow haven of the world, with facilities at par with the world's most famous ski resorts. During the mild-weathered spring, summer and autumn seasons, visitors can enjoy cherry blossoms, play world-class golf, go horseback riding as well as do white water rafting, sea kayaking, fly fishing and a host of other fun-filled activities.
