As part of our commitment to create real value in a world that is constantly changing, we are determined to be good corporate citizens in every corner of our global community.

We hold ourselves accountable for the social, environmental and economic impact of our operations. We design our policies and business practices to reflect the highest standards of corporate governance, transparency and ethics.

We support all aspects of the sustainability agenda, but one area is particularly relevant for us. We have the skills and opportunity to help minimise the significant impacts that real estate has on the environment.

We will lead the transformation of the real estate industry by making a positive impact both in and beyond our business.

Please see our Global Sustainability pages here to learn more about our activities.

We are committed to being the real estate industry leader in environmental sustainability and energy management, both for our clients and ourselves. Our capabilities give us the opportunity to drive change that minimises the impact of commercial real estate on the environment.

We focus on creating and maintaining a rewarding and welcoming workplace for our people around the world. We strive to attract and retain the most talented individuals, encouraging and enabling them to succeed.

We foster an inclusive environment that values the richness of our differences and reflects the diverse world in which we work. By cultivating a dynamic mix of people and ideas, we enrich our service capabilities and the communities in which we operate.

Community and Society

We endeavour to be good citizens wherever we live and work.

Every year, JLL Hong Kong participates in a number of community focused activities. Through engaging events, we raise over HKD 100,000 annually, which is then distributed to various charitable organisations. As part of our contribution, we have not only raised funds, but also food, labour and goodwill.

JLL partnering with Feeding Hong Kong

csr-logo-feeding-hk.jpgDespite relative economic prosperity, 18.1% of the population in Hong Kong lives under the poverty line. More than 300,000 children have no access to three meals a day, and one in three people over age 65 lives in poverty. At the same time, more than 2,300 tonnes of food is sent to landfills each day.

JLL Hong Kong has been a long term partner with Feeding Hong Kong (FHK), a local non-profit dedicated to redistributing surplus food to people in need, since its inception in 2009. Over the years, JLL Hong Kong have held fund raising events, engaging staff and clients as well as food drives to raise awareness and much needed resources to help FHK fight hunger in Hong Kong.

Through the JLL Rooftop Farm located on the roof of Bank of America Tower, where we grow and harvest organic vegetables, we are also able to donate clean and healthy produce to FHK and other local food banks.

JLL Hong Kong are staunch supporters of fundraising efforts across our community as well as in the industry, contributing and participating in fundraising events such as the Goodman Interlink Magic Mile, Central Rat Race, Walk Up Jardine House just to name a few.

Ethics and Corporate Governance

We are proud of our global reputation for uncompromising integrity, ethical conduct and corporate governance. Our Code of Business Ethics and Vendor Code of Conduct are followed by our own employees and everyone who does business on behalf of our firm. We are also proud of the rigor and quality of the firm's corporate governance and the benefits these policies produce for our stakeholders.

  • Code of Business Ethics:

Our Code of Business Ethics helps our people better understand the duties and responsibilities associated with conducting business on behalf of JLL. The Code contains sections that address our responsibilities to clients, business partners, shareholders, and the communities and governments in the countries in which we do business. Members of our Board of Directors fully support and mandate our compliance with the Code. Reports of possible violations can be made to our global Ethics Hotline 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

  • Vendor Code of Conduct:

We trust that our vendors, including firms and individuals who provide direct service to or directly to our clients, will honour our commitment to integrity. While vendors are viewed as independent entities, their business practices can reflect upon our brand and reputation. We expect all vendors to embrace and adhere to our Vendor Code of Conduct.
